Question:

I have a viking trailer 1997 approx in year. My outlets wont work on battery power mode. They were working but now they dont only using battery power. Everything was fine up until last camping trip. Any ideas? They work fine when I plug my camper in. Battery is brand new everything fine and is LG enough to run fridge, fan, kettle etc. Thx for your time

Based on the issue you are describing it sounds the like inverter in your 1997 Viking Trailer is not converting the 12v DC power from your battery bank to 110v AC power for the standard outlets in your trailer.

I recommend checking that your inverter was hooked back up to the battery bank when you installed a new battery. More than likely it was not reconnected and is causing your issue.

If you find the inverter is hooked up to the battery but you are still not getting power then the inverter is bad and will need to be replaced.

The correct replacement inverter is going to be dependent on the wattage requirements of your trailer. If you can tell me what wattage your current inverter is rated for I would be happy to recommend a replacement for you.
