Carrying A Hitch Bike Rack With A Reducer Sleeve

Question:

I have a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD with a 2.5 inch receiver opening with a reducer sleeve that takes the hitch opening down to 2 inches. Is the pin of the Thule T2 Pro XTR bike rack long enough to go through into the reducer sleeve so that when tightening the knob on the bike rack it will secure the reducer sleeve inside the main 2.5 receiver opening, thus preventing the reducer sleeve along with the rack itselve from sliding out of the 2.5 inch receiver opening ? The Thule T2 Pro XTR Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount, part # TH69TX, is not compatible with 2 1/2" hitch receivers. The pin is not long enough to secure the bike rack via the hitch receiver and the reducer. In fact, Thule does not make a platform rack that will work for that setup. I do have a rack that will work with that setup.
