The Curt Upgraded Circuit Protected Powered Tail Light Converter # C59496 is a universal type wiring harness and will fit most all vehicles including your Audi A6 Quatro. The kit uses a powered converter that protects your vehicle wiring by sending power to the trailer or auxiliary lights directly from the vehicle battery.
Currently we do not have a video of the installation process on your A6. The instructions which I have linked below will give you a better understanding of the installation process. I recommend using a Test Light # PTW2993 to identify the correct wires in your taillight circuit before installing the wire taps that are included with the kit. The included tester is more difficult to pierce the protective covering on the wiring.
