For your 28' enclosed trailer I recommend the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Single Zone - 15,000 Btu - Black # FR23PV. If the ceiling of the trailer isn't too high and you can reach the air distribution box and don't want to run a thermostat down the wall you can use the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Manual - 15,000 Btu - White # FR92PR. I've attached a video where we go through and review each air conditioner brand we carry and Furrion is the overall best choice when it comes to RV air conditioners. These units will quickly and efficiently cool your 28' trailer which will require less power consumption and a longer lifespan for your unit.
You're going to need a 14-1/4” x 14-1/4” opening and the roof will need to be reinforced to 3.5" - 6" thick and able to hold up to 100lbs. You'll need a 115VAC power supply to properly run the unit and 12VDC to power the air distribution box/thermostat. You'll most likely need more wire so I've attached a chart to help you determine the correct gauge of wire for the length you have to run it.
