What Fuses Need to be Pulled to Flat Tow 2019 Chevy Sonic with Remote Start
Question:
Im confused by the answer given below. My reading of the Owners manual only indicates that three fuses need to be pulled for flat towing. One the DLIS fuse which the fuse panel shows to be a 2 amp fuse and the BCM1 and BCM2 which are both 20 amp fuses. The answer below indicates that fuse F07 also needs to be pulled but I cannot find a F07 fuse anywhere in the manual or on the fuse panels. So which is correct? Are there 4 fuses I need to pull or just three fuses? Question: I read I have to pull fuses to tow my 19 Sonic. Is this right? Which ones and is there a better way to do it? asked by: Gloria Expert Reply: From my research youre correct, fuses need to be removed in order to flat tow your 2019 Chevy Sonic. It sounds like the same is true for the 2018 model as well. You can remove them and them manually each time you tow or we sell fuse bypasses from Roadmaster called the FuseMaster. The FuseMaster installs permanently in the Sonic and makes removinginch the fuse as easy as flipping a switch. This bypasses the fuse without actually having to take it out each time you tow. If your Sonic is not a keyless access model you only need to remove one fuse the DLIS FUSE 1 in the instrument panel fuse block. The FuseMaster to make this easier is part # RM76511. If you do indeed have the keyless access model Sonic then instead you need to remove four fuses and you can use three FuseMaster bypasses for them. Use two of part # RM76511 for the F07 and the DLIS 1 fuses and part # RM76512 for both the BCM1 and BCM2 fuses which are in the passenger compartment fuse block. You only need one # RM76512 FuseMaster for both of these fuses.

Your owners manual would be the correct guide for fuse pulling for your vehicle. We only really can give info we find in the manuals online which means that the manual is the final authority. So since your 2019 Chevy Sonic owners manual says you need to pull the fuses BCM1 and BCM2 that would be all that you'd need to pull.
We used the FuseMaster bypass part # RM76511 on a 2019 Sonic just like yours which I have attached an install video for.
