Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Auto Level Trailer In Motion Error
Question:
Every time I try to move the trailer to get it level so I can then use the auto level the error comes up and locks out everything until I press touch screen. So trying to use my phone connected BT doesn’t really work as I have to get out go into the trailer press the button. Then go back to the truck to only find out the panel is locked again.

The Trailer in Motion error message that you are receiving is due to the sensor detecting that the vehicle is moving. To use the auto level feature the trailer must be unhooked from the truck and not moving. If the sensor detects movement from either a vehicle or person inside the trailer causing enough trailer movement the error code will show and the function will stop.
Per Lippert's instructions for the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System # LC358590 you will need to manually use the front jacks to detach your vehicle and move it away from the trailer. Then turn the system back on and press the auto level. The front of the trailer needs to start slightly above level as it will drop slightly below level when the auto level sequence begins.
