Do I Need Anything Else to Mount My 2-Man Kayak on the Xporter Pro Ladder Rack on a 2002 Tacoma?

Aloha. Do I need anything else with with rack to carry my 2- man kayak. Strapped down and secure.?

In addition to the Thule Xsporter Pro Truck Bed Ladder Rack - Aluminum - 450 lbs - Black # TH500XTB for your 2002 Toyota Tacoma, you will need a kayak carrier to attach to the crossbars. For a great recommendation, I suggest the Thule Hull-A-Port Kayak Carrier w/Tie-Downs - J-Style # TH834 with the Watersports Adapter # THXADAPT11. The Hull-A-Port will fit kayak with hull width up to 36 inches. The Xsporter's crossbars are too large for the Hull-A-Port to wrap around which is why you need to use the Watersports Adapter because this converts the Hull-A-Port to mount using the track system.
