What is Measurement of 4 in Regards to Trailer Brake Pad Thickness

Had my cam 6x10 dump trailer inspected report says brakes are at 4 what thickness is that and when should I have them replaced

That number is probably 4 mm which that amount is acceptable. Normally trailer brake thicknesses are done by inch though. 3/16 of an inch is what they are new and then they should get replaced at 1/16 of an inch.
