Recommended Bike Rack For Transporting 2 E-Bikes On 2014 Volkswagen Tiguan

I need a hitch mounted bike rack for 2 e-bikes. Bike specs: - 2inch receiver - 2inch tires - 1 bike is a step through - 60 lbs each - Fenders on both Carrying on an SUV so Ill need tilt away feature to access rear liftgate. What do you recommend? Thanks in advance!

I recommend looking into the Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches # TH903202. This secures the bikes by the frame, making it compatible with fenders and baskets. The weight capacity is 65lbs per bike so you won't have an issue there. A really nice feature is the included ramp which allows for easy loading or unloading. This carrier does tilt to provide trunk access. Locks are also included to deter theft of your bikes and bike rack.

A more affordable option would be the Swagman E-Spec 2-Bike Rack # S94FR. This does not have a ramp, but does have a weight capacity of 70lbs per bike and is also frame-mount. This doesn't tilt, however, it does fold down which allows for access to the trunk on most SUV's.

Both bike racks are nice options that would work well for you, but I would go with the Thule EasyFold since it has a ramp and also provides a more solid platform for the bikes. I attached a couple demonstration videos for you to check out.
