The B&W Companion Slider Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # BWRVK3400 is designed to slide into the square opening on a B&W Turnover gooseneck ball. As your 2019 Ram 2500 has a short bed a sliding 5th wheel hitch is recommended to enable you to have more steering capabilities. When you need to make tight turns to maneuver the 5th wheel you can slide the hitch back in your truck bed 12" gaining you extra clearance needed for jackknife turns.

If your Ram also has the 4 outer puck system factory prep installed, a better hitch will be the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider for Ram Towing Prep Package # BWRVK3670. This 5th wheel hitch will drop into the 4 outer mounting holes of the factory installed in bed prep package. With having the 4 outer holes this hitch is stronger and does not limit the use of turning style pin boxes.

Be sure to pick up a Lube Plate # 16721 to use with your pin box. This will slide up onto the pin box and gives the hitch and pin box something to glide easily on when turning. By using this you will not need to cover the 5th wheel plate in grease which always ends up creating a larger mess.
