Determining Correct Weight Distribution Hitch For Travel Trailer W/ UVW of 4422lb and GVWR of 6600lb
Question:
Which Equalizer hitch would you recommend for a trailer w/ tongue weight of 367 lbs, trailer weight 4422 lbs, GVWR 6600 lbs? It seems to be right on the higher end of the 600/6,000 lbs version and the very low end of the 1,000/10,000 lbs version? I was hoping not to use the smaller 600/6,000 lbs version, but not sure if thats pushing it too much.

The correct weight distribution hitch for your 2018 Airstream Basecamp Travel Trailer weighing 4422lbs with a GVWR of 6600lbs is going to depend on the total tongue weight of your setup.
Total tongue weight is the tongue weight of your fully loaded and ready to tow trailer plus the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle. The tongue weight you mentioned of 367lbs is likely the unloaded tongue weight.
The easiest way to get an accurate tongue weight measurement is with a tongue weight scale like the # e99044 but there are other methods outlined in the included help article.
You are correct that the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control - 6,000 lbs GTW, 600 lbs TW # EQ37060ET is not going to work as it has a GTW rating of 6000lbs but your trailer has a GVWR of 6000lbs.
As long as your total tongue weight exceeds 600lbs then the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control - 10,000 lbs GTW, 1,000 lbs TW # EQ37100ET you mentioned will work just fine and would be my recommendations as it is a top of the line system with heavy duty 4 point sway control to keep your trailer from swaying when going down the highway.
If you find that your total tongue weight does not exceed 600lbs you will need to use a different weight distribution hitch. I recommend the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control - Trunnion - 8,000 lbs GTW, 800 lbs TW # FA92-00-0800 which works with total tongue weights ranging from 400-800lbs. This hitch does not include a hitch ball so you will need 2" hitch ball # A-90 or 2-5/16" hitch ball # 19286.
I included a few videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
