Erickson Wheel Tie Down Straps Reliability
Question:
I was looking to purchase these for my UTV. I currently have the E-Track installed already. Ive been reading forum reviews of people having issues with the single strap wheel tie downs sliding off the tire. Is this something that you have run across? Currently I just use straps to the machine but Im trying to get away from compressing the suspension.

If you already have an e-track installed, my recommendation would be the Erickson Adjustable Wheel Net with E-Track Fittings - 1,166 lbs, part # 77314. It is a wheel net designed to specifically work with e-tracks. The straps come individually and it can fit tires up to 29" in diameter.
I have never used single strap wheel tie downs. I have always used a system similar to the Replacement Wheel Net for Roadmaster Wheel Net, part # RM-2150. Even with the dolly straps I would have to stop after a few miles to tighten again. Strapping a wheel is similar to strapping anything to your vehicle, you should periodically check to make sure everything is tight and nothing has moved. It holds true for boats, bikes on trunk racks, straps on trailers, etc. You should make an initial stop, soon after you start on your trip to snug everything again. Then snug everything the next time you stop.
I have included product description links and video review links below.
