Curt C51180 Echo Not Receiving Power When Installed on 2005 Ford F150
Question:
It doesn’t light up. The rv lights all work if I plug it into my truck without the controller. I have a 2006 Ford F-150. The controller did light up blue when I plugged it into friends 2021 ram.

Good job testing the controller on another vehicle, that helps rule out the controller itself as being the problem.
The lack of the blue LED typically indicates that the # C51180 Curt Echo isn't receiving power. Use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 on the pin in the 1:00 location on the 7-way with the ignition on. If that pin isn't powered up you likely have a blown or missing 30A fuse in the # 106 location in the fuse box. Replace the fuse, and you should be good to go.
You'll also want to check the trailer connector for corrosion and clean or replace if necessary.
