How Does the Autowbrake Key Fob Keep From Having Other Fobs Operate the System
Question:
If the key fobs are all the same and no paring is needed, could someone near me in traffic with the same brake controller hit their key fob button and unknowingly also activate the brakes on my trailer at the same time or vice versa, me unknowingly activate someone elses trailer brakes nearby?

I can't say I've ever heard any reports on that happening, but I can understand the concern. With that said the Autowbrake # 3430001 uses RFID technology and rolling codes to keep your system from being overtaken by someone with a rogue remote nearby.
