The distance from the top of the Equal-i-zer # EQ90-02-4400 to the center of the top hole on the shank drop is 6".

The Reese 54917 is a 6" drop shank with a 10 1/4" rise, the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Shank #EQ90-02-4400 has a 13" rise and a 9" drop and has an overall length of 12".
