4 Bike Rack that Can be Used in Hitch at Rear of 5th Wheel Camper
Question:
I see on the page it states it can’t be used with a 5th wheel camper. Why is that? I’m looking at purchasing this for my 5th wheel but also be used on my other cars. As long as whatever I use it with has a hitch it should be fine correct? If it can’t be used for a 5th wheel even with a proper hitch, what bike rack could be used in its place? Thanks again!

Expert Reply:
The ride quality at the rear of a fifth wheel camper is much rougher than at the rear of a vehicle due to the much longer distance between the rear of the vehicle and the rear axle as well as the less sophisticated suspension. So to use a bike rack at the rear of a 5th wheel will require you to use a bike rack that is reinforced for this like with the Swagman Original part # S64400.
