Installing The Curt Custom Base Plate Kit On A 2011 Honda CR-V
Question:
How hard is the installation? Im fairly handy with a wrench. Also particular about how cut plastic fairings are going to look. Know any installers near 01609? The $700 package with tow bar, is that a value?

The Curt Custom Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms Item # C26KR is an easy installation that will require a little bit of trimming and drilling to install. All of the base plates you'll find to fit your 2011 Honda CR-V will require a bit of trimming to allow the arms to stick out but the arms can be removed and covered with a black cap to help make the cuts less noticeable.
I've linked the installation guide to help you if you choose to do this install yourself. If you choose to have someone else install it I recommend checking with your local mechanic shop.
