It is pretty easy to install a trailer brake controller like the Curt Echo Wireless # C51180 on your 2021 Honda Passport.
If you already have a factory 7-way connector your will just need to plug the Echo into your 7-way connector and then plug your 7-way trailer connector into the Echo.
If you do not already have a 7-way connector you will need to add one using the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package # 118291 which will plug into the factory harness of your Passport, and just require you to ground the white wire to the frame.
If the trailer hitch receiver you have does not have a built in mounting bracket for a 7-way you will also need a no drill mounting bracket like # 18140 to mount the connector to your hitch.
Now if you do not already have a trailer hitch receiver then I recommend adding the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76290 due to it having the highest ratings at 900lbs tongue weight and 6000lbs trailer weight. This hitch has the built in mount for a 7-way connector so you will not need the # 18140.
To complete your towing package you will also need a hitch ball, ball mount, and hitch pin and clip which can all be found in the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
