Availability Of Roof Rack That Utilizes Factory Holes On 2011 Chevy Avalanche
Question:
Hi I asked you guys a question yesterday and got some really good information but I still had one more question. I want the stock rack completely off and I want to utilize the drilled and tapped holes that are already in the roof from the factory. Is there also a way I could do this without clamping anything to the door jams and just use the bolt holes on top of the roof. Also I prefer the Yakima roof racks but am open to other options.

I confirmed that there are not any roof racks that will be able to utilize your factory drilled holes that the OEM roof rack attached to on your 2011 Chevy Avalanche. If you are able to keep the factory rails then you can install Yakima JetStream Crossbars - Aluminum - Silver - 60" # Y00426 along with TimberLine Towers # Y33TR. These bars have the standard T-slot channel on top which allows for channel-mounted accessories to be easily installed or removed. I attached a demonstration video for you.
