Expert Reply:
The Camco RV Water Heater Thermostat, part # CAM08143, attaches directly to the metal of the water heater tank. Per Camco there should be studs mounted in the hot water heater tank and this thermostat will attach directly to the tank. No hardware comes with the thermostat. If you are missing the bolts needed to mount the thermostat you should be able to get them at your local hardware store.
