Parts Needed To Install Tekonsha Voyager Trailer Brake Controller 39510 In 2018 Chevrolet Suburban
Question:
I want to pull my old Tekonsha Voyager controller out of my 2002 suburban and put it in my 2018 suburban. My problem is the wiring harness/colors do not match. The harness that came with my suburban is attached. How do i wire this to my existing control module?

I would be happy to help.
You will need to use a different plug-in wiring adapter as the adapter your 2002 Chevrolet Suburban uses is different than the one found on your 2018 Suburban.
For your 2018 Suburban you will need the # 3016 given that your vehicle has the factory tow package. This will plug into the factory trailer brake controller port underneath the dash of your vehicle and the directly into your Tekonsha Voyager # 39510.
You will just need to remove the mounting bracket from your old Suburban and install it in your new one, or you can purchase a new mounting bracket # 2178.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
