Package Contents For The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11179
Question:
Hello- I have ordered a trailer hitch part #C11179. The hitch and hardware appear to be intact, but I do not have any stiffener plates that go in the spare tire well. Are those supposed to be included, or do we just drill/install directly through the sheetmetal? The installation instructions appear to picture stiffener plates. I have attached a picture that shows all that was in the box once opened. Thanks in advance

I have included an arrow that points to the stiffener plates(Square Hole Spacers) for the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11179 for your 1999 BMW 5 Series. Also I have linked below the installation instructions that will list all the components that should be in your hardware kit.
The hardware kit will include 2 of those spacers, 4- 3/8"-16 bolts, 4- 3/8" flat washers, 4- 3/8" lock washers, 4- 3/8" hex nuts, 2- 7/16" carriage bolts, 2- 7/16" lock washers and 2- 7/16" hex nuts.
If any of this is missing please let us know so that we can get the missing hardware sent to you.
