Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider & 2019 Ford F-350 Super Duty
Question:
I have a 2019 F350 and a 102 wide 5th wheel. the distance from the cab to the center of the pin is 39inch and with travel from 8550035 is 14inch total 53. clearance of 2inch but on the kinpin of my 5th is 3inch behind the outer edge of RV with a 45 degree pin box at the lowest level leaving me with -1. Will I have enough clearance? Demco says only 70 degree turns. Is that enough or are there other alterative? Like popupRV5, sidewinder or something else? Should I order the DM8550035 for my truck and see what happens or wait. My 5th wheel is a holiday 37foot with 3 axles.

I understand your concerns about clearance, that is always something to be concerned with when towing a 5th wheel and especially with a short bed truck; but that is why the slide type 5th wheel was designed. The Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch, # DM8550035 has a customer rating of 4.7, this is a great hitch. This has a full 14" of fore/aft travel which is one of the longer front to back travels. For your 2019 Ford F-350 Super Duty with 6-3/4 Foot Bed without OEM Prep Pkg., the rail kit, if needed, is # DM8552031-71.
