Trailer Hitch Identification On a 2020 Hyundai Tucson For Bike Rack Options
Question:
I bought a used 2020 Hyundai Tucson. It has a trailer hitch but I don’t see any markings with Class type. The tube is 1-1/4 inside dimension. Before I buy a bike rack, can you look at the pictures and tell me if this is Class 1 or 2? Thanks.

It would appear that you have the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C12241 on your 2020 Hyundai Tucson. This is a class II hitch that has a maximum tongue rating of 350lbs.
Also the 1-1/4" receiver in your pictures does not have the class I tab as seen in the attached picture.
I recommend the Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # NV12G for your Tucson. The rack will tilt away from your Tucson allowing you access to the rear cargo area. When not carrying bikes you can fold up the carrier as well so that it will not hang as far off the back of your Tucson. The integrated bike cables locks also share a key with the hitch lock giving you one key for all your locks reducing the chances of you misplacing the extra keys.
