Is There A Tailgate Lowering System For The 2018 Nissan Frontier?

Question:

I have a 2018 Nissan Frontier, the tailgate as rather heavy and I did it once the cables did hold but I dont want to chance again, will the easy down work in my truck and if not what do you suggest. Thank you in advance

I have a possible solution for you, but none of the tailgate-lowering systems with shock absorbers will work with your 2018 Nissan Frontier. You may be able to use the Hopkins EasyLift Truck Bed Tailgate Lift Assist # 74211, but this also has not been confirmed to fit your vehicle so I cannot say for sure if this will work. It uses a single torsion bar to make lifting and lowering the tailgate easier. I recommend looking at the demonstration video I attached along with the photos on the product page to see if your tailgate looks similar to the ones that have been tested with the Hopkins EasyLift.
