Recommended Flat-Tow Wiring Harness for a 2009 Honda CR-V
Question:
I am purchasing the Roadmaster direct baseplaet 521559-5 and the falcon tow bar. I will be using this setup with the RVI2 supplemental braking system and battery charger. Which battery disconnect, tow vehicle wiring kit and 7-6 way cable assembly should I be looking at or would you recommend? Thank you

The flat-tow wiring harness I recommend for a 2009 Honda CR-V is the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit part # RM-15267 if the tow bar does not have channels for the umbilical and safety cables or the Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles part # RM-152-98146-7 if it does. These kits are my personal favorites as they require minimal modifications and are very reliable
The Falcon 2 does not have channels whereas the Falcon All-Terrain does have channels. If you are not sure if the tow bar has channels then use the former coiled version.
A battery disconnect is not needed for a 2009 Honda CR-V.
