Will Trailer Hitch from 2004 Honda Pilot Fit 2018 Pilot
Question:
I’m buying a used 2018 Honda Pilot. My 2004 Pilot came with the towing package which included the receiver and hitch. Can I reuse the receiver and hitch for the 2018 Pilot?

The 2004 and 2018 Honda Pilot would use a completely different hitch, so unfortunately you wouldn't be able to re-use your existing hitch.
For the 2018, I'd recommend the Curt Class III hitch, part # C13146. Please note, if your Pilot has wheels larger than 18 inches, the spare tire will not fit under the vehicle with the hitch installed.
If you'll be using the hitch for towing purposes, you'll also need a trailer wiring harness like part # 118760 for a 4 pole connector or # 118286 for a 7-way connector. The above ground height of the inside top of the receiver tube of the # C13146 hitch would be right at 14-1/2 inches, if the height of your hitch on your current Pilot is the same or close to that, your existing ball mount would likely work.
I've linked to install videos for the hitch and the wring harnesses I've recommended above.
