Best E-track Coating For Corrosion Resistance On Open Car Hauler Trailer
Question:
I plan to use the E-track on an open car trailer. Does the galvanized version or the zinc-plated version of the E-track have the highest corrosion/rust resistance?

I have found the galvanized coating on the etrailer Horizontal E-Track # e95VR will hold up to rust and corrosion better than the zinc coated Erickson Horizontal E-Track # EM19147 that you were looking at.
The galvanizing process leaves a thicker coating as compared to zinc coatings. This will allow for it not to wear off as quickly.
I recommend using the Erickson E-Track Tie-Down Kit # EM58523-09162-4 for securing your vehicles when using the E-Track. This kit will give you 2 wheel chocks and 4 wheel straps to secure the vehicle to the track.
