Best 5th Wheel HItch for 2021 F-350 Dually Without Prep Package

Question:

Have pulled a travel trailer for a long time, but this is my first 5th wheel. Need help picking a hitch. Have a 2021 Ford F-350 long bed dually and getting a 2021 Grand Design 390RK-R 16,800 lb with a MORryde Pin Box. The truck is not 5th wheel prepped. What would be the best hitch for this setup.

Congratulations on the all-new rig. Sounds exciting. I will work from the assumption that when you say long bed, that you mean 8-foot bed. For a 5th wheel hitch the B&W # BWRVK3300 that you referred to is designed for the factory prep package.

The best choice would be the B&W # BWRVK3255 5th Wheel Hitch with the # BWRVK2402 mounting rails kit for the 2021 F-350. I think B&W is top-notch and the 18,000 pound rating gives you some room to grow.
