There are options that will allow you to carry bikes on your 2011 Mazda 3 Hatchback, however, trunk mounted bike racks are not recommended on models that have a spoiler. To mount a trunk mounted bike rack on your vehicle, the upper straps will have to run over the spoiler and hook to the top edge of your rear hatch. The spoiler on the Mazda 3 Hatchback was not designed to support any weight and could deform or even break under the weight of a bike rack and bikes.
Instead, I recommend looking into installing a trailer hitch and using a hitch mounted bike rack or using a roof mounted bike rack.
I have a 2012 Mazda 3 and I recommend installing a trailer hitch like the Draw-Tite Sportframe Hitch, # 24843, and using a hitch mounted bike rack like the Swagman Trailhead 2 Bike Rack, # S63360. This option is more economical than a roof mounted rack and it prevents any contact with your vehicle and adding a trailer hitch will also allow you to use a cargo carrier or other accessory if the situation arises.
I have attached a link to the installation instructions for the trailer hitch and a link to all hitch mounted bike racks that will work with this trailer hitch.
You could also look into a roof bike rack like the SeaSucker Komodo Bike Rack # 298-BK1910-BK. This is a confirmed fit for your Mazda 3 and is used without installing a roof rack. However, this only carries 1 bike and is very expensive.
