Recommended Thule Roof Rack for a 2009 Toyota Camry for Use with a Hullavator Pro
Question:
Hi, I have a 2009 bare roof Camry. Im hoping to find a Thule roof rack system that will work. Ultimately I would like to use a Hullavator so I know the bars need to be a bit longer to accommodate. Can you help?

Helpful Expert Reply:
For your 2009 Toyota Camry, the widest bars we have from Thule are the WingBar Evo Crossbars, part # TH711420. They are 53" long. I cannot say for sure if this will extend enough for the Hullavator. However, we do have flush crossbars that are 38" of crossbar space. Accounting for foot space, the WingBar Evos should give your at least 4" on each side.
The Hullavator Pro, part # TH898, requires 4" - 8" of extension pas the foot pack. The WingBar Evos should provide that much.
In order to mount the Wingbar Evos, you will need the Evo Clamp Feet, part # TH710501, and the Fit Kit, part # TH145149. I've linked to a video review of the WingBar Evos below.
