What is the Best Swing-Away Bike Rack for 2 Himiway Electric Mountain Bikes on a 2008 Commander?

Please make your best recommendation for a bike rack that has the hitch swing arm for a Jeep Commander for 2 Himiway electric mountain bikes. Rocky Mounts Backstage shows 60 pound max for 2 bikes. The Himiway bikes weigh 72 pounds. I could not find the weight of the battery. Do I remove the batteries to meet the weight limit of 60 pounds? Or what is suggested? Thank you!

I have a great solution to the problem. For 2 Himiway electric mountain bikes that weigh 72 pounds, I recommend using the Kuat Pivot 2 Swing Away Hitch Extender for Bike Racks # PVP20B in combination with the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # HLY84FR.
The Kuat Pivot Swing Away Extender has a maximum tongue weight of 250 pounds. With your two Himiway electric bikes and the Sport Rider SE, your carrying weight needs are 198 pounds. This will give you plenty of carrying capacity you need to carry your e-bikes. To protect your e-bike batteries, we recommend that you detach the batteries for transport.
From my research, it looks like some Himiway electric mountain bikes have alternative frame styles and/or fenders. In order to secure a bike to the Sport Rider SE with an alternative frame style, I recommend the Swagman Adapter Bar # 64005.
