Where do I mount the Redarc Tow-Pro Brake Controller on a 2019 Ford F-150?
Question:
Where should I be mounting the RED44FR and do I need any additional items other than what comes with the unit and adapter wire? I have a 2019 F150 XLT

Where you choose to mount the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR on your 2019 Ford F-150 will be determined by your preference. The Redarc Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness # 331-TPH-007 will limit where you will be able to mount the module itself. But the control knob can be mounted in a wide variety of places where you have at least 1-3/4" depth for the controller and wiring to mount. You will not need any additional part to install your brake controller.
As you can see in our many different videos the control know is sometimes hidden and other times more in plain sight. Depending on your trim level with the accessories and controls that are installed this may limit your placement. I like the area of the dash near the vents on the center console. This allows the controller to be easily seen and adjusted if necessary.
