Vent Cover for Fan-Tastic Roof Vent to Allow Vent to Open when its Raining

Hi, I couldnt find in stock MaxxAir fans that werent double the usual price so I bought 2 Fan-Tastic Vent RV Roof Vent with Thermostat and Rain Sensor, Manual and Automatic Speeds 12 Volt RV Vent Fan, Smoke Dome RV Vent Cover - Model 7350 - White Is there a way to still use them in the rain, like an added cover? I wasnt able to get awning windows, just sliders so Im looking for options to what was available. Thanks!

You can use the Fan-Tastic roof vent cover part # DMC38FR with the Fan-Tastic roof vent you have now # FV807350. This will allow you to still use the vent when it's raining like you are wanting.

The roof vent covers aren't designed to allow the roof vent to open all the way. Reason being it allows the cover to not be quite as tall and because with the cover only partially open it can still flow as much air as if it was fully open. Sounds…
