Do you guys think these will work and could you recommend where to install them? In front of toward the truck or behind the rear stabilization arms?

The Ultra-Fab Skid Wheels, # UF48-979013, are designed to be placed at the rear of an RV (or trailer) but I suppose you could put them anywhere on the RV or trailer where it may get too close to the ground. They are designed to bolt the frame using the included hardware.
We have many skid wheel options that might work for you. I have included a link to the available options for you to view.
