Which 2-Bike Carrier Should I Use For My Travel Trailer?
Question:
I am looking for a stable bike rack mounting system for my travel trailer. The Hollywood HLY64FR is perfect for carrying both our E-bikes. Why is it not compatible for travel trailers? Our trailer has a factory installed 2inch receiver mounted at the rear bumper rated for 150lbs. Thank you.

The Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitches # HLY64FR is not compatible with travel trailers. The carrier is not built to withstand the extra bouncing and stress that is induced when a bike rack is on the back of a travel trailer. I recommend looking into the Swagman XC2 Traveler Platform-Style 2 Bike Carrier for 2" Hitches or RV Bumpers # S64663. This has an adapter to attach to a trailer's bumper (4" or 4-1/2") and also fits the 2" receiver on your travel trailer. This is one of the only 2-bike carriers that will be compatible with your setup; keep in mind this carrier has a weight capacity of only 35lbs per bike which may not be enough to safely accommodate your e-bikes. I attached a demonstration video for you.
