Does Wiring Change When Powering Accessories from Batteries Wired in Parallel
Question:
I am planning to connect two 12 volt batteries in parallel for my boat. I will connect the outboard motor, lights, trolling motor and other standard boating equipment. What do I need to consider for the wires to lights, bilge pump, etc? Can I just use the same gauge wire for these items that I would if I were just running them off of a single 12 volt battery?

Yes when you connect all of the accessories to the batteries wired in parallel you'd just need to use a standard gauge wire like what you mentioned to make the connections. We offer 10 gauge wire by the foot too with part # 10-1-1 also.
