Does RoadActive Suspension RAS3611-CHD Fit A 2016 Chevy Silverado 3500HD W Overload Spring?

Question:

I just purchased the RAS3611-CHD for my 2016 Silverado 3500HD. Will this fit my truck? My truck has overload spring on top of the leaf springs and it looks to me that this to overload spring will interfere with the RAS. I see that a previous question has been answered on this situation and provided a video, however the video is no longer available. Would you provide me with information or the video link on how the RAS is installed with the upper overload spring in the way. Thank you

The RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit - Heavy Duty # RAS3611-CHD you purchased is confirmed to fit your 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD with the top overload springs.

To install the # RAS3611-CHD on your truck you will need to remove the top overload spring which you can see in the included written instructions for the Ford F-250/350 with the only difference being you will not need to trim the spacer as the instructions show.

The reason you need to remove the top overload spring is you are correct that it will interfere with the # RAS3611-CHD and the RAS will replace it and give you the additional support you are looking for.
