How to Install Both a 7-Way and a 4-Pole Trailer Connector on 2019 Toyota Highlander LE Plus
Question:
I am planning to use Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness w Brake Controller Adapter - 7 Way Trailer Connector Item # 22119 to add 7way trailer wiring to our vehicle. What is the most efficient way to add 4 way also to this vehicle? Are there any multitow 4 way and 7 way connectors that will interface with the above wiring harness?

I can suggest two different options for you.
Option 1, you can discard (or save for a spare part) the 7-way included with the # 22119 kit and replace it with the # HM40975 which would plug directly into the harness provided by the # 22119. The # 30955 would also do the same thing, but the # HM40975 is much better built. In fact, it's what GM and Ford and Ram use as the OEM trailer connector on their trucks.
Option 2, you could use a T-connector like # 118384 which would plug inline at the connection between the 7-way trailer connector and harness provided with the # 22119.
I've linked to a video showing how the # 118384 installs inline between the 7-way trailer connector and the tow package harness. I've also linked to an install video for the # 22119 kit.
Neither option mentioned above are vehicle specific, so both would work with the harness provided by the # 22119.
