Will The RockyMounts MonoRail Solo Bike Rack Fit A Subaru Forester With 1-1/4" Hitch Receiver?

My Cannondale Tespro Neo X3 e-bike has a front fender. I am looking at purchasing the RockyMounts MonoRail Solo 1 Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount. I read that this particular rack hooks onto the front tire and if there is a fender, the rack may not work. Is this true? If so, can you recommend another hitch single rack that would work with a bike with a front fender.

It sounds like you have a 1-1/4" hitch receiver on your 2016 Subaru Forester since the only other option would be a 2" hitch receiver. Either way, the RockyMounts MonoRail Solo 1 Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount # RKY10007 will work well since it is compatible with both size receivers. This is a really nice bike rack that has integrated locks for the bike and the bike rack so that your belongings will be safe and secured. That is correct, the RockyMounts MonoRail Solo 1 Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount # RKY10007 is not suitable for bikes that have front fenders due to interference. Instead of this bike rack, I think a great option for you would be the Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # SA4412B. The Saris Freedom has a weight capacity of 60lbs per bike which is more than enough for your Cannondale Tesoro Neo X3 electric bike (which weighs 54lbs according to my research). This carrier secures the bike by the frame and not the wheel, making it compatible with bikes that have fenders. It is also compatible with your 1-1/4" receiver on your 2016 Subaru Forester so you will have no issues! I attached a video for you.
