Hello the battery be removed to store indoors for the winter or does the entire unit need to go into a climate controlled area for the winter? Will storing in a cold garage where is gets to freezing hurt the battery?

I took a look at the manual for the Trailer Valet RVR3 Remote-Controlled Trailer Dolly part # TVRVR3 and the following is what they recommend for storage.

"Put the RVR in the transport box/bag delivered from the factory. If the storage box/bag should become
damaged, discard it. Store the RVR in dry, frost-free conditions. Do not store the RVR in direct sunlight or at high temperatures. High temperatures may drain the battery quickly."

Hey Morgan, so you are right we don't carry the Trailer Butler dolly but we do have a really great alternative with the Trailer Valet #TVRVR3 which is a similar electric dolly design and ALSO has a fancy name... I like this over the Trailer…
