Can Tekonsha 90885 Prodigy Brake Control Be Installed on 2021 Chevy Silverado Using Factory Pigtail
Question:
Can I install this product on my 2021 Silverado 1500 by splicing into the factory provided adapter found in the glove box. The truck has a trailering package but no break control.

You sure can. The wires of the OEM pigtail typically don't wire up color for color with the pigtail included with the Tekonsha # 90885, but the wires on the factory pigtail should be labelled. Here's the color code for the pigtail included with the P2:
• Blue wire-output to trailer brakes
• White wire-ground
• Black wire-12-v power to controller
• Red wire-brake lamp switch
I've linked to a demonstration video that'll run you through how the Prodigy P2 works.
