Roller Accessory for Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Racks

Question:

Hi, taking a look the photos of this rack it is hard to see whether the heads of the mounting bolts would stick up above the horizontal plane of the top of the roller same a trailer bed plane Basically my concern is whether the underside of boat being moved across the roller could potentially be scratched / damaged by the head of the bolta as it moves across the roller. Can you help me with this question / concern? Ideally I would like to see the mounting bolts fixed to the trailer frame on the back side so it does not have any potential contact with the roller plane / bed plane.

The Roller Accessory # RR43129 will not scratch your boat when loading up. I would not be concerned with that at all. The bolt sits in the center of the roller on the outside. The only bolt that may make contact is the carriage bolt on top but the smooth part is facing up. If it does make contact, it will not gouge the bottom of your boat. The bolts that mount the bracket to the rack is a carriage bolt, it has a smooth head so it will not scratch the bottom of your boat either. No worries!
