I highly recommend the Reese Quick Install Customer rails and brackets # RP50064-58. These would fit both a 1500 and 2500 2009 Chevrolet Silverado with the 6 1/2 foot bed. With no drilling required, it is a pretty straight forward install. These rails coincide with the industry standard measurements, so as long as the tabs on your hitch are either 10 inches apart, 20 1/2 inches apart, or 29 inches apart measured from center to center, you would be good to go.
