Replacement Boat Trailer Wheel and Tire Combo 2.5" Pilot Hole 4 on 4" lug

Question:

I have an old boat trailer that the rims and tires are shot. They are 4.80x4.00-12 They have to have a 2.5in center hole because of the type of hub it is. What might you have that can replace it? I understand I might have to go to a smaller rim but would like to stay close to same height if possible. If not, I can go smaller since its only for a Jon boat. Thanks

You have a couple options as we do not have your current 4.80-12 wheel and tire combination available with the 2.5" pilot hole wheel.

First is the Kenda 205/65-10 Bias Trailer Tire with 10" Galvanized Wheel # AM3H380.

Second is the Kenda 5.70-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" Galvanized Wheel # AM30130.

4.80-12
-Section width: 4.80"
-Outer diameter (when inflated): 20.5"

205/65-10
-Section width: 8.3"
-Outer diameter (when inflated): 20.5"

5.70-8
-Section width: 5.9"
-Outer diameter (when inflated): 18.0"

You will want to ensure that you will still have the clearance required for the larger width tires.
