Kuat NV 2.0 vs Thule 903202

Question:

Ive just read a previous question comparing these two racks with the same concerns that I have ease of installation, using the ramp etc. The poster mentioned that in her research the Thules reviews were much worse than the Kuat. Your response was two fold: you prefer the KUAT, but recommended the Thule for ease of installation. You also mentioned that you did not see a lot of negative reviews about the Thule. In doing A LOT of research, and comparing reviews of both racks, the Thule does have a lot of poor reviews, including 1 and 2 star reviews. The Kuat had nothing less than 4 stars on any review site. The seller of our ebikes recommended the THule, due to lightweight and ease of installation etc. I am really conflicted, because of the amount of negative reviews of the Thule, although I would prefer something more lightweight. The KUAT seems a better product, and at the end of the day I want the best product I can get. What do you think?

Expert Reply:

The Kuat and Thule bike racks both have their pros and cons. Although, it really depends on what specifications are important to you when it comes to them. By the looks of your question, it seems that the ease of installation, weight, and a ramp are important for you. With these things in mind, the Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack # TH903202 is the stellar choice. It truly is top-of-the-line. It has easy installation and it is 7 pounds lighter than the comparable Kuat NV 2.0 # NV22G. Also, you can add a Extra-Long Loading Ramp # TH933402 as an attachment as well.
