Does The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver C13550 For 2005 Ford Explorer Include The Correct Hardware?
Question:
Im worried the original bolts will be rusted up. Have the bolts that come with the kit been corrected, and are they the correct length now? Many have commented they are too short. 2005 Ford Explorer 4x4.

The hardware included with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13550 for your 2005 Ford Explorer is all the correct length and will fit perfectly on your vehicle.
The # C13550 has a 500lb tongue weight rating and 5000lb trailer weight rating, or 800lb tongue weight rating and 8000lb trailer weight rating if using a weight distribution hitch making it a perfect option for carrying a bike rack, a cargo carrier, or a ball mount for towing.
If you can tell me what you are planning on using your hitch for I would be happy to recommend the correct products for your needs.
I included a video of the # C13550 being installed on a similar 2003 Ford Explorer for you to take a look at.
