Will the Curt A16 Slider 5th Wheel Hitch for a 2020 Chevy 2500 with Pucks Fit Under Tonneau Cover
Question:
I have a 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD short bed with 20foot wheels and the OEM 5th wheel prep puck system. Very tall truck. Approximately 58.5foot from the ground to the top of my bed rail. My bed height is close to 21. I am interested in the Curt A16 C16521 hitch with the slider C16023 and the rail adapter C88KR. I see that the rail adapter adds about 2 inches to the height. I have a tri-fold Tonneau Cover that sits on top of the bed. If I use the lowest height setting on the hitch 17.5 given the fact that the truck sits high to begin with that means it will sit at about 19.5. Would the hitch most likely sit under my current Tonneau Cover ok including the arm?

The Curt A16 Slider 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # C16521 with Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch part # C88KR is a great options for a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 with 6-3/4 Foot Bed and OEM Prep Pkg. It will have a minimum hitch head height setting of 19-1/2" with the adapter. I show the cargo box height as 21" so it should fit under a tonneau cover but you could easily measure this yourself to confirm.
