Trailer Wiring Harness Recommended for 2018 Toyota Camry

Question:

I pull small trailers with minimal lighting. I will be putting a hitch on a 2018 toyota camry. I would prefer to purchase a nonpowered wiring kit for the car. It would be nice if I could get a kit with plug in connectors made for this car. Is such a kit available? Thank you

In all honesty, due to the circuit protection a powered converter provides, that's really what you'll want to use. None of our hitch wiring manufacturers offer plug-and-play a non-powered option, so it's really a moot point.

I'd recommend using the Tekonsha # 118763, which as mentioned above will isolate the vehicle's expensive to repair wiring system from any short circuits that might occur in the trailer wiring.
