Troubleshooting Trailer Brake Assembly that is Weak on One Side Compared to Other
Question:
installed new trailer harness and brakes left side not always working and have to turn prodigy all the way up and even if I use override doesnt lock up tires but can hear them on. use the same white ground in the harness. installed new battery and emergency pull cord with the kit also

Sounds like the one brake assembly is out of adjustment.
Use a brake adjustment tool like # W80630 to turn the starwheel on the adjuster to expand the brake shoes until the wheel is very difficult to turn by hand. Then back off the starwheel in the other direction, about 10 clicks until the brakes drag slightly. Make sure all brake assemblies are adjusted in the same manner.
